GO Connect: Networking REImagined
Networking is often seen as a song and dance routine, marking off checklists, and at times a forced social pressure. Often it can feel more like a task to find the right people at the right time. The moment you’re able to come up for air – growth opportunities look more like survival mode and you may find yourself drowning in a sea of your business card collection which is now brimming over your dresser drawer. Sound familiar?
The City of Charlottesville Office of Economic Development, The Spill Teem® (Vision Consultancy), and Seedplanters Coaching Services have partnered to bring you GO Connect. What is GO Connect? Simply stated, GO Connect is networking reimagined. Filled with tailored value, creative talks, innovative environments and tons of aha moments. Go Connect is creating actionable opportunities for businesses, professionals and those who aspire to be anywhere in-between. The right people at the right time simply need the right opportunity to GO Connect!

DSI Lunch & Learn Series
More than six million motor vehicle collisions occur in the United States every year. And the varying degrees of injury can make it difficult for emergency responders and hospitals to triage patients and target care where it is most needed.
This is where data science can make a difference.
Join Dr. Thomas Hartka for a discussion on how he is using data science to predict the likelihood of injury after a crash and improve clinical outcomes. By incorporating these risk models into clinical care, medical teams have the potential to focus resources on patients most at risk for injury, saving money and saving lives.
This talk is part of the DSI Lunch & Learn Series sponsored by the Center for Innovative Technology.
